We depend on the worlds leading scientest to give us the information needed to be safe and healthy. I feel they have failed us with this one. They told our President that children and young adults wont die, wearing masks and staying six feet apart will protect you. If you are within the age range likely to get it the survival rate is huge.

Those who know me-know I am a bit rebellious when people tell me to do something i will do the total opposite. I do not like to wear a mask and I hate staying inside, I am really getting cabin fever. However I have praise God remained healthy. What is my point you may ask?

Friday as I am scrolling through facebook, I see where a good friend of mine lost her father to COVID although he was only and a ill with underlying issues. This morning we get a call from a family member who advises us that one of their healthy 50 year old coaches has died as a result of the COVID virus. Although I understand the desire to be with other people, it is only human nature.

We are social creatures. If you are missing your family take advantage of the internet that allows you to safely visit with your family. Follow the guidelines that your state or community are putting out there. This virus is mutating like crazy, if you have not gotten a flu shot this year I really encourage it. One the other side of things, if you are feeling isolated and alone and need someone to talk to do not let yourself get so depressed you have no desire to move forward. Telehealth has taken on a whole new meaning. My clients love it because they can counsel, no missed work, no missed pay and you can do it in your home. Pick up the phone and if not me call someone.
